Jag tycker så bra om Jerry S Williams Parelliinstructor. Han verkar vara en klok och mogen person. Blir glad när han skickar sina nätbrev då och då. Här från det senaste, nog håller ni med om att han verkar vara en ovanligt sympatisk människa. Skulle gärna gå en clinic för honom.

 Satte ut en bild från en sommar med goda minnen. Vi var på gång då Dorado och jag. I september samma år fick han sin hovbensspricka och jag blev sämre i kroppen så sen har vi inte riktigt upprepat det. Än kan det ändra sig. Stretchar min höft flitigt nu och det blir bättre och bättre :)

..that moment when my horse loaded on to the trailer while I was seated on the fender. He sauntered in, poked his head out the window knocking off my hat as he began to fiddle with my hair.

I think it is important for us to store up these types of memories. There are a treasure trove to help you move forward when the chips are down. It´s amazing when I begin to doubt myself how I suddenly develop amnesia and forget all the good memories, or at least they are inaccessible at that moment. All I can remember are my failures.

Unless we can learn to break ourselves out that thought process we seem doomed.

One way I have found is to write down a list of memories... things you have accomplished with your horse. Read it out load when you doubt yourself or need to reboot your mindset. You don´t have to go into detail just enough to jog your memory that there have been successes along the way. This is a great way to break the cycle so you can begin to move ahead again."
